What is the cut off date for free shipping for Christmas?
We have 2 levels this year. If you live west of the Rocky Mountains we need to recieve your order by Thursday, December 17th. If you live anywhere else in the USA we need to recieve your order by Sunday, December 20th. After Sunday the 20th, we ask that you call to verify shipping time to your destination and we will do everything we can to accomidate you.

We have been in business since 2001 and what keeps our pricing low is not having marketing material like catalogs. We strive to make your online shopping experience as easy as possible. What if I need to return an item?
-Returns are accepted for (30) thirty days from the date of purchase. -A Return Authorization (RA) is required for all returns/exchanges, call 1-800-201-7727 or email us at support@toysandhome.com. -Shipping charges are non-refundable and customer pays return freight, unless the return is due to our error of course. -All returns must be in new condition, complete with the original box, instructions, warranty cards, etc. -Please allow up to 7-10 days for inspection, processing and credit information. -If an item is received back in used condition or is missing it's original carton or packaging a 30% re-conditioning/used goods fee will then apply. I live outside the United States, can I make an order?
Absolutely! We have been serving international customers for the past several years and we can facilitate this in several ways: 1) Enter your order in our system and when we receive it, we will contact you via e-mail to arrange payment and shipping. 2) Click on the CONTACT US button to e-mail us your request with which product (s) you are interested in. You will need to provide your exact shipping address including Country, Province and Postal Code. We will get back to you on the shipping/freight quote. In many cases we can arrange door to door delivery. In some countries our shippers will only deliver to port and you will need to work with your local shippers to get delivery from port. Our international customers will be notified via e-mail regarding additional costs associated with freight, duty and customs.

How does free shipping work?
Free shipping is provided on products delivered within the lower 48 states of the USA. We do our best to price all our items with shipping included. We are located in Ohio so for some of our customers a LOCATION FEE will be assessed. This would include those customers that live WEST of the Rocky Mountains. This includes CA, WA, OR, UT, NV and ID. If you want to find out if you will have any additional fees simply put your items in your cart and proceed to the second step and enter in your shipping information. If you will be assessed a LOCATION FEE this is where it will be displayed. In this case we only charge what additional fee that FED EX is charging us to deliver your product. SIGNATURE/PROOF OF DELIVERY Unless otherwise requested all orders ship via ground and are delivered to your home or place of business. If you would like a Signature required for delivery you will need to make a request in the CUSTOMER COMMENTS section of your order or send us an email as soon as you place your order. We are not responsible for items once they leave our warehouse and can only provide the tracking information provided by Fed Ex services. In the event of a dispute over a item being recived please contact us first so that we may provide information on tracking of item. If Fed Ex shows item as delivered to address listed in Shipping section of order, we are then no longer liable for order. Refusal of DeliveryIf an order is refused, the customer will be responsible for the shipping costs back to ToysandHome.com and any other costs that occur during the delivery process. What if my item is shipped via freight or common carrier, how does that work?
The freight company will contact you in advance to schedule a delivery date and time. Someone must be present at the time of delivery and a signature will be required. Please note that the drivers are contracted to deliver to the end of the truck only. You will be responsible for unloading the truck. Drivers do not provide inside delivery (over the threshold) as part of their service. For this reason, especially for oversized items, we recommend that you have help available to unload and move the item to its final location.

How long does it take to get my order?
Toys and Home strives to process, ship and complete every order as fast as possible. We generally say to allow 5-7 business days to recieve your order. Once you place your order, we receive it and review. We check status and availability, then we process order and send out a PAID ORDER STATUS email. Next we pull your order, prep for shipping and send out. You will recieve an email stating SHIPPED ORDER STATUS at this point followed by an email with tracking information when one is available. If a product is direct shipped from the manufacturer or needs to be ordered to our warehouse, it may take some additional time for you to recieve a SHIPPING confirmation. We do not process orders to PAID until we are confident that your order will ship in the normal time frame. As with any business, items go out of stock or are on backorder and have not shown up to our warehouse in time. In these cases we always call our customers or email to give you an update on what is going on, an expected timeframe and the next steps. Step 1 – Shopping: As you're browsing our store, any time you see a product you'd like to buy, click on the "Add" button at the product. Adding the product to the cart means that ToysandHome.com will remember the information about that particular item when you are ready to check out. (You can always remove an item or add quantity from your cart later.)
Step 2 – ToysandHome.com Shopping Cart Once you've selected the product you'd like, Toysandhome.com will show you everything that's in your shopping cart. you can make sure that the products you've chosen are correct. If you decide you don't want an item that's in your cart, you can remove it now. If the product you're purchasing is a gift, this screen is where you can enter the Ship-to address. Once you are sure that your shopping cart is correct, you can either go back to shopping, or you can proceed to check out from Toysandhome.com.
Step 3 – Checking out On this screen we will show you your entire order so that you can make sure that all the information we have is correct. If you see anything that's been entered incorrectly, please change it now.
Step 4 – Payment This screen is where you enter your credit card information. When your credit card information has been entered and everything on your order meets your satisfaction, click on "confirm order" Remember, This screen is also your last chance to cancel your order.

What if I need to cancel?
Orders often ship out from ToysandHome.com the next day (M-F) after you place your order (pending credit approval and order verification). However, every effort will be made to accommodate a cancellation or change providing your order has not reached the order processing stage or has not already been shipped out. We strive to ship every order within 3-5 days of placing order and this allows us to make any changes or updates including cancellation. To expedite the cancellation process, you must contact us by phone or email within an hour after submitting your order to ensure proper cancellation. If your order status is "Shipped" it can not be cancelled; however, it may be returned. Please note, orders that are “Refused Upon Delivery” will be subject to a $10 refusal fee and you will be responsible for all additional shipping costs that occur during the delivery process.

I see an item is "OUT OF STOCK" how can I get this item?
We strive to provide the best selection of name brand products at competitive pricing. At times, products may sell out and be listed as “Out of Stock.” In some instances we have some items that go "Out of Stock" prior to us signifiying this on our website. We do our best to stay on top of manufacturering supply schedules. If you are interested in an item that is "Out Of Stock" we recommend contacting us and in many cases we can advise you on the date of availability and how to order and get item when available. Many items listed as "Out of Stock" are items that are in high demand. We recommend placing an order for this item based on availability and timing for your needs to have the best opportunity to get this item when it is "Back In Stock" During the holiday season we try and work with you to insure you have the best chances to get the "hottest" items for your child or loved ones. What if I receive a defective product?

We will work diligently with the manufacturer to take care of your service need by arranging part replacements. ToysandHome.com reserves the right to replace the defective parts and requests for replacement parts will be processed as quickly as possible. Please note that we are unable to express ship replacement pieces. If a replacement part can not be obtained, a new item will be shipped. Regretfully, we are unable to accept cancellations after merchandise arrives. After 30 days of receipt, ToysandHome.com will refer all issues regarding defective merchandise to the manufacturer for warranty processing, if applicable. Product Color Discrepancies: A product color discrepancy does not constitute a defective product. Please be advised that all monitors' color settings may vary and can affect how colors appear on the viewing screen. Color settings may be cause slight discrepancies and color variations in the product received. Who is ToysandHome.com?
ToysandHome.com is privately owned by the Toys Acquisition Company LLC. Started in 2001 by a former employee of Step 2, it has grown through the years by adding quality products and building lasting relationships with customers worldwide. When the company started in 2001 it specialized in Step 2 products and annual sales reached $200,000 for each of the first 2 years. The company expanded manufacturers in 2003 and added the quality products from Little Tikes. In 2004 and 2005 we added Melissa and Doug, Chicco USA, Creative Playthings, and LC Creations LLC and expanded our offerings by creating a HOME section for the site. Yearly sales reached the half million mark in those years. In 2006 the company added Espresso and Coffee machines made by Saeco (formerly Mr. Coffee.) Also Dirt Devil and the Dirt Devil Royal lines were added from TTI. These lines offer products for the thousands of parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc that regularly come to our site to shop for their beloved little ones. 2007 saw our Home section account for 10% of our total sales which reached $775,000.00. In 2008 we decided it was time to give the site a new look and fresh update. We hope this update will enhance our customers shopping experience by providing for easier navigation, faster transitions and more products at lower prices. We also formed a partnership with a local business and now have a store in Solon, OH. We also moved into a new warehouse that allows us to stock many items so that we can ship as soon as we receive our orders. Our future plans include a possible store location in the Midwest and the West Coast. Toys and Home has always tried to put our customers first by offering only the best products at the lowest possible prices. Because we are a small company owned by one family we can keep our overhead costs down and this allows us to pass along great prices to all our customers worldwide.
